Hey All
Where would an endless stream of air bubbles be coming from when I suck with a syringe at the bleeder on the clutch slave. Assume air is NOT coming down the threads on the bleeder and back out the end of the bleeder what would be your next best guess?

This may not be what you are doing but it's a good occasion to mention it.

If your FJ is on the side stand, particularly with the bars turned to the left, anything other than a 100%+ filled reservoir will have the port above the fluid. So, even pumping the lever (or sucking from the slave) in this configuration will introduce air into the system.

With the lever in the resting position the system is "open"

I'm not sure where the bubbles are coming from when you suck in on the bleeder screw, but you'll have better luck injecting fluid into the slave at the bleeder screw with your syringe and forcing the air up through the lines and out the Master Cylinder.  Then bleed normally buy squeezing the lever and letting any small amount of air out the bleeder when loosening and tightening the screw--do this with a length of tubing attached and rising vertically from the bleeder screw.  The tube will fill with fluid and prevent any air from getting sucked back into the slave. Make sure to rest your MC cover over the MC when you do this.  Prudence would warrant a large towel wrapped around the MC and handlebar area...and tank and fairing...just in case of a errant squirt of fluid.

Seems I might be getting somewhere with your suggestions will start the battle again tomorrow
