Hi have been offered a FJ1100 1985/6 looks ok but did have a bit of a misfire when taken off the road sometime ago. The bike it's self looks totally standard (unlike mine ) but being about 30 years old I think that's a good thing and not to be played about with, just a good original FJ. Anyone care to put a rough value on the bike! as said not on the road and a misfire but that could be a easy fix, body not bad for the age.  Russ

Russ, an FJ1100 will be an '84/'85. That said, is it still running or has it been stored too long? Do you trust the seller? Miss-fire could be many things but not difficult to fix. The body work is hard to find in good condition. Not running brings the value down as you don't know if you need to rebuild the engine and or transmission. Here in the states I would offer $500/$600 USD, if not running. If it runs then the price can go up based on condition and how well it runs...
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

'86 Ambulance - Bent frame, cracked case, due for an overhaul

It's an 85 bike but I think first registered in 86.  Will find out more when I take a look at the log book.

Tank and plastics...
If the tank is relatively rust free and the plastics are in good shape a non running 84/85 should be $800-1,000
