Hi all can anyone tell me why the gun section is ''off limits'' to me? I understand that in the forum list it should be 3rd up from the bottom.... but not for me I get ''forum suggestions''. Please help    Russ

Russ, I've sent a PM to Marsh on this issue....I don't know what's happening. This is a first.

3) Replace your old stock rubber brake lines.

I have had this forum intentionally set-up so that particular (sensitive to some) section will not appear until you have met certain criteria.  It has been this way since I created the forum.  This has been done to protect us all - I have very specific reasons for this that I am not going to discuss publicly.

You had to be either a "Full Member" (based on post count - it takes 80 posts to become a Full Member) - OR you could access it if you were a $ Contributor.

I have never mentioned the $ Contributor aspect previously because then it would seem like I am restricting it only to offer easier access to it as a perk for $. This is not the case at all. The reasoning is that someone who has shared their PayPal info (and been verified by PayPal) and taken the time to contribute something to the forum - is far less likely to be someone who would wish to cause harm to our forum.

After thinking it through - I just made a change and opened it up to "Jr. Members" who have a post count of 20.  Now, Russfjr1 will have access with his Jr. Member status.

Thanks Marsh, I've learned something today...

Makes sense , keeps the trolls at bay and the guys just selling bikes and parts who come and go in a couple of posts.

Many thanks  Marsh  I totally understand and you obviously have that policy for real reasons be they personal or not. I would respectfully request that you re instate your 80 post count minimum but drop the £$ contributor side just make it the post count (I have reasons why)
