Im desperately in search of locating a set of front brake caliper adapters that will allow 4 piston calipers to be installed on 1986 FJ 1200 that will permit 1988 FZR 1000 front wheel to be used with larger rotors. I know these are made have seen photos of same any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

These adapter plates seem to be rare as rocking horse shit. You might find them overseas like this place. http://exactrep.com/acatalog/brakes.html

At the cost the adapters your are better off upgrading to '89 forks like I did. While you are at it, upgrade your forks with straight rate springs and RPM valves. Front end handling was dramatically improved.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

'86 Ambulance - Bent frame, cracked case, due for an overhaul
'89 Stormy Blue - Suits my Dark Side

If you are going to upgrade then Marks advice is right on target. I wouldn't' waste money on old 1100 forks.  Recently on e bay there were 2 legs advertised at 85-90.00 each from a 91-93 vintage FJ. They still might be there because that was just two days ago. He had them listed separately but you could contact him to to if the shipping could be combined ?

As a note the fork tubes are the same on all the FJ's as far as I know. So if per chance you come across a set of fork lowers or a "bent" set of newer forks at a good price that could also work for you.

If you are up to it there are other forks that can be adapted.  Some I am told are not that hard to install.  That's out side of what I know about fork mods.

Here is that e bay listing. He has a right and left side for sale.  No affiliation.
