We all agree sagging bags are no fun. I have built something a bit like Scooterbob
has shown us. This was a couple of seasons in development. It began simply to keep the soft throw over bags that I first used from fouling with the rear wheel. They were effective enough but, offered no support to the bottom of the bags. Wanting something
more than I had, I improved on the theme and finished off with what you see in the pix.
The whole frame can be installed or removed in a few minutes. The only change to the bike involved relocating the rear signals. I leave them like that, I think they look good there. I have to thank the nice folks at the Safeway store for most of the
material used.(shhh!)

The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Do you have to put a coin in the slot to get the bags off?

Great design.  Your picts remind me of the Klickitat area in Washington State.   :good2:

I must point out however, that we may now have to carry our beer to the check out counter at Safeway 'because' somebody absconded with the shopping carts.  :shok:

Could you post some pics of the brackets on the bike and without the bags, so I can see the bolt up mounting points? Please and thank you :)
If someone wants to see any images I refer to in posts, first check my gallery here. If no bueno, send me a PM. More than glad to share.

Hey Charlie, Yes I will put some pix up with a better view of mounting details.
(sorry for the delay, too much stuff, not enough time,)
Cheers

Yes indeed FeralRdr, the pics were taken in your neck of the woods, well, yer back yard
anyway. Good eye work !
For Charlie BRM, here's some pix to shed some light on the bag frame mounts.
