hey Monkey, i just bought a '92 for parts
runs great with 75K miles
you can pull the motor
its in Colorado
-just another option

Thanks for the offer, a bit far to go for my budget. I love this group.  :good2:

yup, a bit of a drive.
But, if you like to ski, we are having a hella season so far
-the motor will likely be here till spring, if you know anyone traveling cross country-i am 2miles off I-70, i would toss it in their car
i imagine shipping with a standard carrier would cost more than the motor is worth
cheers

Hi Mark.

I just read your posts concerning your shock fitment problems. You refer to it as an 89 style shock which Randy doesn't sell as far as I know. I think what you have is a 91 and later shock which is longer in overall length and also has a longer stroke in comparison to the 89-90 you might want to consider that.  Assuming the 89-90 and the 91 and later have the same amount of wheel travel that would indicate to me that the leverage ratio is not the same for the different years as far as swingarm and lower mounting points go. You might want to base your calculations on the 91 and later swingarm and upper mounting point.

Hein.
What do you mean, you don't have a lathe?
