FJ1100 owner New Zealand

Hi all
Gazz here in New Zealand with a 84 Yamaha FJ1100.Had the bike about 3 years now,shes got 120,000 on the clock and is still running sweet.These engines are truly bullet proof with a little maintenance here and there as you know.The only issues i have had with the bike were the fuel guage being a bit erratic but i have since sorted that one out.I ride on most weekends when i can, and enjoy touring this great country we have here in NZ.Talk to you all soon.

Whereabouts in the land of the Long White Sheep do you live?
I lived in Christchurch in the '70s and had a Suzuki 305.
Owned it for a year and rode it about three times!

Couple of other Kiwi's here.  Which end of the country are you in?
Must say that each time I've been in NZ, I've just ached to have had a bike.
Wouldn't even want a big bike, but something small and nimble like an RD/RZ 250.

Hi Guys
I live in Taranaki(central north Island) for those who don't know.The FJ11 is my first road bike and also have in the shed a 05 FJR which is a more serious touring machine.I ride both bikes off and on depending on what mood i'm in.

Hi all,
              I'm also in NZ, Auckland based, sorry about all the taxes. ;-) have a 92 FJ1200, it's my daily driver, either that or walk ;-) Awesome machine, perfect for 2-up cruising but it'l go like a cut cat when pushed. give me a yell if you're heading my way, always keen for a ride!
