The current FZ-09 does not carry much gas, ~130 miles worth....this FJ should be much better.

I've always been a fan of triples...I think a 1200cc triple would be tasty..

A pistol is like a parachute, if you need one and don't have one you will never need one again.

I'll take one!
115 hp, 420 lbs, 6-speed, and make it around $9599 !

I'm considering an adventure bike, but want more than a 650, but don't quite need a 1200...............This would be perfect!  :good:

Oh..........................and give it a 6 gallon gas tank!

Kind of looks like they used two different designers, one who liked square shapes and straight lines, and one who likes only curves and circles. Maybe a third who loves "fusion". It would look much better dressed. Add a skid plate to hide the overly curvy exhaust pipes, toss on a tank bag and a pannier set. You could make a good looking semi-duel sport of it. Depends on the fork travel, I suppose.

I'm undecided.. I like the shade of red they chose.. Better than the black..

Wonder if Yamaha's triple is similar to Klav's Tiger.  Great motor, plenty of power, quick revving.. although at idle it "loped" like a V8 chevy with a cam.  Nothing wrong with it, just different coming off a very smooth running 4cyl bike.

Al,

Are you looking to do more dirt roads?  'cuz if you need to find 'em...I'm your guy!  I've been frantically searching for news on a possible 2015 700 twin Tenere, coming in at 74HP and around 425 lbs.  SOLD!

It would be nice to get a midsize Tenere with the MT 07 engine but then Yamaha would sell it everywhere but the U.S.  Dave

You know it!
That's why I'm seriously considering an adventure bike............................I definately don't need a 1200 though..............
If they offered a middle-weight one around 90-100 hp, I would be looking really hard at it!
