I spent $20,000 today.
On a one way plane trip in a Cessna Citation jet for a bloke at work who got hit by lightning.
I got hit by the same bolt.
Didn't expect that.

Can't imagine you could expect either being struck by lightning, or a $20,000 plane ride.  There are just some things in life that can not be planned for.

Glad to see you well enough to post.

I got a pretty good job once replacing a dude killed by a lightning bolt. So it can't be all bad.

FJmonkey

I think in many ways we are all just sitting around waiting for that lightning bolt to either finish us off or move us up the ladder of life. :scratch_one-s_head:

Klavdy......you ok mate?

Harvy

From what has been posted elsewhere it was the other bloke who was actually struck. Klavdy was only injured at the point where he made physical contact with him. Apparently his injury was described as small and ineffectual by the nursing staff, but the locals offered him a decorative sheath to bolster his spirits and give him back a shred of self esteem.
