Have a DID chain has a stiff section of o ring chain can not find a master link is pulling the swing arm to put a new chain on the way to go or a good chain with master link. The old chain has no side to side play just a couple of links that are stiff. I have to drive a gravel road to get to pavement. Chain lube helped but is it to late 93 fj 1200 22,000 miles chain has been replace I guess because it says DID

Pulling the swingarm gives you the opportunity to re-grease all the bearings and suspension links, or to install "Zerk" fittings so you don't have to do this again.
You can cut the old chain off with an angle grinder, or use a chain breaker.
Common wisdom is that a properly riveted master link chain is as strong as an endless chain and stronger than a clip master, but I have used both with no problems.
If you keep your chain lubricated, you'll get much better life from it.  I lived on a gravel road up till last year and got over 65,000 kms (42K miles) on two chains.

Got the new chain on much smoother. Front forks next.
