To clarify my battery is an AGM not gel cell. Resting voltages for AGM usually run a little higher than and acid cell.  Normally around 12.8 -12.9 volts at full charge.  Mine seems to read a little higher.  I just checked it again at rest with 3 different meters and it reads 13.1 volts. Triva, but if you are reading the numbers that's what I have.

George, do you think the Facet 40171 will fit if I have the OEM air box?

Interesting that you got the same 10.6V...I disconnected the fuel pump relay coupler and connected the positive lead of the tester to the relay coupler red/white terminal (wire harness side) with the negative lead grounded to the battery.

I think with a stock air box it would not work out as well.  You would have to do some engineering.

At the relay my red/white wire with the ignition on but not running is 10.9 -11.1 (tested 2 times)
"   "     "     "        "          "      "     "    "        "   and running at 1100 RPM  is 11.9- 12.25 (voltage varies due to the regulator doing it's job)

Make sure you generator/regulator is putting out a charging voltage at 1100 RPM it should be charging and the voltage will increase with RPMs up to a point.
