Hello
I am from Bucharest, Romania.
I just bought a 1991 FJ1200 with 57000 mile on board. It runs well, even with this mileage
I will need some advice, but firs I have to read the forum.
I also have a XJ600S Diversion from 1993 and I had before a 1986 Kawasaki VN750 and 1992 russian Dnepr.

Hello, draku, and welcome!

You have found the right place for everything about your FJ!

Draku,

nothing to worry about that mileage.... the bike is just getting broken in good!

KOokaloo!........ In Romania! :good2:

Thanks  :good2:

First of all, I found missing 1 liter of oil from engine. I must see why....
Second, lots of bolts are loose... previous owner was almost to lose gear shift lever, he did not noticed that...
Third, this winter, I will dismantle all the bike for small repairs and cosmetic work. Bike is from UK and all welding point from the frame are rusted. I must clean-up, protect and paint. Also, fairing need some bodywork. I am thinking to open the engine top end, to check inside the cilinders, piston ring and valve shims (few of them make noise)
