Has anyone re-covered a Corbin seat?  I've mostly convinced myself to make a new cover for my tired corbin seat out of full grain aniline leather.  I figured I can rip the seams on the existing cover and use the pieces to make a pattern for a new one.  I'm a fairly proficient stitcher, and I should be able to get the materials needed for around $50: a big difference from the $400+ Corbin wants to do the same work.  Any thoughts?

My Gunfighter and Lady is currently at the Upholstery shop. The stitching in the Leather had started to come undone. Also, I am having it covered in all vinyl. The Leather was too damn hard. I will post photos and price I paid after I pick it up.

The top front edge finally cut through the front panel on mine a couple of years ago.

A friend of mine who has an upholstery shop was able replace just that piece, which now looks better than new.

He said it was pretty easy.

I have a Corbin Gunfighter seat, dont like the faux tooled leather look. Love the comfort vs stock. I was going to re-cover it, bought a sq. yard of material, staple gun, etc and found out that the staples wouldn't even come close to penetrating the fiberglass seat pan.  Maybe a compressed air stapler would work....Corbin used rivets to hold the material in place.The stock seat was easy to re-upholster... Used a hair dryer to heat and stretch the vinyl, looks great.
