I love my Corbin Gun-Fighter.  I used it with a sheepskin when completing my Ironbutt Saddle-Sore 1000 (1000 miles within 24 hours).  No issues at all.

I bought my Corbin back in '92 a few months after buying the FJ.   70,000 miles later, I still love it.   The first cover lasted ~20 years and finally sent it back to them and had it re-covered.   Only time that saddle caused me any pain was when it was back at Corbin!   I had to put the OEM seat back on and couldn't ride 100 miles without it being uncomfortable.   What Pat said earlier is absolutely correct.  I've put in back-to-back 800-mile days on the Corbin in complete comfort.  There is no way I could have managed that on the OEM  seat.  Firm is good.   I love it for my daily commute as much as I do for all-day rides.
Actually, a guy can live by motorcycling alone.

Although it might require multiple bikes. :D

My Corbin was sorely missed on my trip to the 2104 Australian rally, I can tell you I did not want to sit on that stock seat after the first few hours, but there were still 1000's of km to ride.

I just had my Corbin recovered. My advice for those that have the leather seating areas and don't like how hard the seat is, Replace with a vinyl cover at your earliest convenience. You will love the difference

I had the upholstery shop special order the wave vinyl in charcoal grey. The price was not cheap, finished price was $250.00

Hi Brian, never tried the Corbin so don't know how they compare but I recently had my seat re-covered and padded here, only done about a 1/2 day ride so far and it's a vast improvement over the original, only down side it's a 2 to 3 week turn-around depending on how busy he is. Cost was around $450.00
