Hello all,
I have had this bike since 1998 and have modified it over the years.  It has 29K on the engine.  I would like to rebuild the motor and would like some advice on where to buy a rebuild kit or to get engine parts.

Welcome FNG, from a fellow Ranger, good looking ride, even if it is not Red and White....
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Hello Matt, nice bike, 29k miles on a FJ engine is awfully early for a rebuild.
Did something happen to the engine?

One of my favorite vendors who is a active supporter of the forum is Randy @ RPM.
He has everything you need and gives freely of his expertise. His prices are very good.

Matt welcome, good that you joined us.

There are FJ's that have three times that many miles and still going strong. Thirty thousand miles not that many.

Welcome.
Please tell us why you feel such a virgin motor needs to be opened up at such an early point in it's life.
Time means little, miles even less, ride that sucker!

I stand corrected.  I will leave the engine alone.   It sounds and runs fine.

Thanks Matt
