Just purchased a very lightly used 86 F1200, under 8K miles. She has a warped rotor disk is the only problem, but it's just a nuisance at this point.
Also own an 81 Seca 750 in pretty good condition. Both bikes completely stock including original pipes. I owned an 84 when they first came out. Loved it for 5 years until the Gixxer thing overcame me. Then some used GS' and a Buell S1 in the intervening years. After one ride on the FJ I am thinking I came back to the proper home for me. Looking forward to many miles and smiles.

Welcome  :good2: The FJ is a mighty fine ride.  For me it is about the closest I have been to an all around street bike.  Just a great get on and ride bike.

About me?  :hi:
Traveling sales guy in the aviation world. Been everywhere 5 times and still can't get enough. 59 years old, looking to slow down and smell some burnt rubber.  If it was Midwestern rubber I'd be happier. (NY is not perfect)
Bikes consumed: 79 GS750L / 81 GS1100E / 82 GS1100E / 84 FJ1100 / 89 GSXR-1100 <crashed, got married, took 2 years respite without a bike, reduced to used machines> another 82 GS1100E / 98 Buell S1 / 81 FJ750 Seca / 86 FJ1200.
I'm keeping the Seca around as the kid is interested in learning and it's interesting. Loving to be back on a LitreBike.
