Hi guys.  Fj1200 86. I have mesh pods installed,  stock filter is long gone. I personally would not do that,  just picked up half finished project.... So the question is simple.....how can i restrict air flow of the pods in easy way without fiddling with carbs?
Performance is not the goal. Thanks a lot.

Buy a couple pairs of dress socks and stretch them over the filters. Cut off the excess and secure with zip ties.

Sounds better than the duct tape I was going to suggest

Aluminum foil, a few layers should do the trick...
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

You're kidding, right?

Just how much "restriction" do you think you need?  That's a hell of a lot harder question than simply adding a shim (or 2) under the slide needle.  Which happens to be a well documented "adjustment" for low restriction air filters.

You don't even need to remove the carbs to do this.  See if Randy offers needle shims.
