Bandit 600 rear wheel

Greetings from sunny olde England
I have been lurking on here a while trying not to catch the dreaded moditis. Well no such luck! I have recently stuck a 1997 4 1/2" x 17" Bandit wheel into my 3cv. It fitted easily and looks almost stock but I do worry how strong the five bolt/ five cush drive sprocket carrier actually is? The wheel is basically the old GSXR slabside wheel. To mount the Fj brake caliper I used an XJ 600 Diversion caliper mount with the axle hole drilled out to 20mm but 3mm off centre to effectively shorten it, if that makes sense. The pads still overhang the Suzuki disc by about 5mm but with new HH pads the back wheel can still be locked up without much trouble. The only other issue is that the caliper mount fits to the brake torque arm outside the fork but this can be easily dealt with by going up to a 10mm high tensile bolt (12.9 over here but you might have different gradings). If I decide to keep this wheel then I will probably fit a 160/70x17 tyre as this has a rolling diameter similar to the oem tyre. At the moment I am running the 160/60 that came with the wheel and it handles better than when the old and shagged out 16" that was on there.

I'm running 5 bolt 92 gsxr600 rear wheels on both the 89 and the 86. Put about 8000 miles on the 86 with the stock motor. And now another 750 miles with the 1350 no problems so far.
