Well the RPM fork valves and RaceTech springs are in my 93 and I just returned from a hour long late evening test run..... :good: :yahoo:   THEY ROCK!  I can't wait to take a full regular rip up the Gold River Hwy!  I will be honest I didn't do the install myself but had my MC mechanic who owns a FJ do them and after the report I will be giving another ambulance 1100 will likely get them too!

I think two things first off and I still haven't been able to do my regular rip for a good test. First hard front braking would result before in a quick nose dive, secondly cornering on less than smooth corners would usually result in some front end floating (rear is awesome with RPM shock) now I have a noticeable firm and controllable front end and have gained a little more confidence.
Went for a ride with the misses last night and two up was good as well.  I'm not the most technical rider but what I do know is it feels waaaaay better and am excited to really give it a hard run.

Cheers!  :drinks:

Glad you're happy with the changes Andrew. Don't give it too hard of a run on the Gold River highway and if you do, keep a firm grip on your driver's license... :pardon:

Ahhhh yes Derek there definitely a couple spots the Mounties like to lay but my reference is more to the twisties around the lake.....  How's the swing arm update?

Derek Young

Good plan Andrew. I like the swingarm so far. Will be putting a different shock on soon. Picked up a fz1 shock on ebay.
