Today my daughter turned 15, and she asked me to pick her up from school on my FJ. How cool is she ? It was tough, but I took the afternoon off and took the FJ out for a nice long ride with my teenage daughter.

...and twenty years from now, she'll have fond memories of "that day dad picked me up from school on the FJ!"  Yes, very cool.

Hey that's great. It's a good feeling when people around us take an interest in our sport.

I took my granddaughter for a ride last Sunday. I'd like to get her interested. I was told that she is a little scared of bikes because of a spill she took on a 80 cc dirt bike.

She said she had fun though. I tried to explain that driving it yourself is a lot more fun than being a passenger. She's 13 so I got time, I might get rid of any phobias she might have. I could feel that she was a little unsettled on the back at first but by the end, I could barely tell she was onboard.

Good riding, Joe
