Ok so after I get my air filter pods and install them I will be going after brake lines. Where can I order a complete kit to do the lines and what would be the average cost?

Thanks,
Scott

There are a few company's that make quality Stainless steel braided brake lines. Cost between the manufacturers varies some.
A few manufacturer's are...

Galfer
Goldridge
Spiegler
Venhill
BTR
Wezmoto

84'-90' models can get a set of front lines for around $100.00 +/- $20.00. For the 91'-93' models, w/no ABS you can use the 89'/90' lines. With ABS the cost can reach the $300.00 range.

Rear lines can be had in the $50.00 range.

I personally have the Goldridge 2 line Race set on my 89' and a Galfer 3 line set on my 87'. Both sets work great, the 2 line set up is easier to bleed.

My advise is to remove the ABS, it's probably not working anyway. Then just order a set of lines of ebay. Different options on line sets pick the ones you like. Hope this helps. Galfer lines are good.

Tex what I did was remove the brake lines and the ABS pump, ABS control unit. Install new stainless lines. If your abs is still working maybe keep it (most quit long ago). I have better breaking without it and the bike is about 25lbs lighter. Here is also a link that shows how to bypass the pump. If I can be any more help just let me know.
