Access to rear m/c

Hi guys.

I'm be stuck at work a couple of days and not alle to check this my self.

I need to rebuild my rear master cylinder, and would like to do this without taking of the rear wheel, if possible.
Would removing the rear passenger peg bracket,  you know, the shiny big thing,  gob me access to the  mc? Or is there no way around but to remove the wheel?

Yes no problem.  The bracket comes off easy.  On the 84-90 I believe the swing arm pivot bolt runs through it, but on the right side you only have to remove the nut.  To get the left bracket off, you have to pull the swingarm pivot bolt.  On the 3xw, swingarm bolt does not go through bracket.

On my 1990 I pulled and cleaned the rear master cyl. 3 or 4 days ago.  Removed the brake line. took the pin out of the plunger at the clevis, removed the 2 10mm bolts holding the MC cyl .   That's it , well mostly there is a spring that will fall out that controls the brake lever tension.

No special tools to take the MC apart. Pull the C clip and the piston will come out. I just cleaned it and the line then reassembled.  Nothing wrong with my seals, piston or bore. Just some crusty crud semi blocking the fluid return hole. The hose at the bend had some jello consistency crap in it.
Did not have to remove the swing arm or AL. side plate.
