Best price that I have seen in two years.  :good2:
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

That is a really good deal!
I don't need tires right now, but I'm tempted to buy them and store them under the bed  :flag_of_truce:

Wife: What is that smell??!?!?!?  :rofl2:

That is a great price. I paid $173 for a set and was pretty happy with that.

That's not to far off the total cost as they charge 20.00 for shipping.  But its still a good deal.

Ahhhhh.......I see now. That $173.00 included shipping. I don't feel too bad about that now.

How do the Conti Motions hold up?

IIRC Dean tried a few sets (I help him with tire changes) and it seemed like they cupped badly and didn't last very long. I have no idea on the mileage, just the time frame.

The other variable is that Dean is a slightly aggressive rider so that may be a factor.

No real reason for asking as I am happy with the tires I am running but I do get guys asking me from time to time and I am pretty much out of the loop these days.

BTW... anybody close to Cincinnati, I have a Pirelli Angel GT rear (180) that has around 200 miles on it. It was on my SV when I purchased it and I found a set of Dunlop Q3's cheaper than I could find a matching front... $50 if you feel like swinging by.

I get about 5 to 6 K a set, I wear off the sides before I wear out the middle as I spend more time in the twisties. I am sure I would get more miles with a more equal mix of twisties and commuting on the slab. I was getting 3 to 4 K a set of Q2's. I don't take them to the far edge, I still have some thin chicken strips on the rear.

Well this is where I got the ones I just put on mine. $166.04 and the suckers even showed up the next day with free shipping.

So far I've got about 400 miles on them and LOVE them. Got the rears scrubbed out all the way to the edges with about 1/4" to go on the fronts. (Got work on my corner entry speed. I end up going in slow and rolling on a whole wad of power at the apex)

Can't wait for the rally.   :yahoo:
