To cool. My brother had two or three Huskys. The one I liked the best was the 450 cross country. That thing was a tractor, vibrated worse than a harley but was way cool. Big R

Good for you! Great son you have there. If I'm lucky, I'll get a Father's Day card from mine  :dash2:

My first real dirt bike was a '73 Husqvarna 173WR, and it took me into the world of motocross and hare scrambles. The bike shared the same frame as the 250, so it weighed more than it should've for a bike with that size motor. Had a Bing carb (w/ tickler for a choke) and a Motoplat ignition.

Have fun with the resto on your CR360.

In the seventies, bikes like this were exotic, and expensive...I drooled over European bikes, in 76 I had a Yamaha Z 125X I raced, but still craved a euro. ride. In 79 I bought a new leftover 76 Hercules GS 250, Sachs 7 speed motor, 4 shock positions, it was way cool...miss that bike alot. Anyway for two years we drove past this bike leaning against a garage, it looked kinda taken apart and rough, but I allways said one day Ill stop and check it out...never happened. Wednesday my 16 yr. old son Jacob stopped there on his way home from work { he works part time at  Mauston Motorsports } He bought the bike and brought the bike home and said happy fathers day...thanks Jacob...heres the best part,  :lol:the bike is 85% there and in great shape and will run with a new ring and lube and oil...he paid $30. for the bike!!! the guy wanted $50...ha,ha,ha!!!      Charley.

Cool present.  If you need help with the resto, I have a friend that's into vintage bikes.  He seem to be able to find almost anything.

The 90 DR350 is a great bike, spent some time on one myself... easy to work on, stone reliable, and lots of aftermarket goodies. Good find! I didnt have my 1st child till I was 32 (Samantha) and my son Jacob was born in '97 when I was 36 so you got time...believe me, it goes fast...too fast, enjoy every minute!!! The Husky is apart now and waiting to be blasted and painted. Then comes the expensive part, buying all the new goodies. I'll post pics as it progresses.                                          Charley
