SATURDAY MARCH 29, 2014

ANYTIME AFTER 3PM

LOCATION : SCARBOROUGH, ON (Markham Rd. & Lawrence Ave.)

(popcorn)

I am proposing to host a pre-season motorcycle themed movie/video festival for all Ontario members.  Just the thing to blow out the cobwebs.  All related to the riding, racing, and history of two-wheeled propulsion by internal combustion engine.  Feature films, documentaries, classic and modern.

Viewed within my living room on a 50" LED.

I would have announced this earlier but I buggered my rotator cuff in January and was out of commission for a few weeks recovering.  The "anytime after 3pm" is just what it says.  If you have some time in the afternoon or early evening but are occupied that night, come on by.  Vicey-Versy if your busy in the afternoon, but your evening is open.

I know for many of you it may be too long a haul, but I can offer some overnight accomodation for anyone who travels too far, or imbibes a wee bit too much.   :drinks:

A buffet of veritable gourmet delights will be prepared by the Mrs., then she is going to run-off for the day/night, leaving me to my own devices.

If this at all interests you please reply and I will tally up the numbers.  Once I start getting replies I will PM you my address and cell no.

BTW - I won't force you to watch my vacation videos from last year ....  :bad:

also - I have two dogs, so I can't guarantee you won't have any furballs stuck to you when you leave, despite our best efforts to clean the house.

Thanks for the invite Paul... wish I could make it, but I have tickets to see Yes in Oshawa that night (reliving my youth; Yes is the first concert I bought tickets for in high school. Many many years ago).

Since your Mrs. is going away, are you planning on having strippers come in?
Might add to the "bikey" atmosphere :-)
As I recall, Ontario (at least Windsor) has some mighty fine strippers.

Hey Paul,

I have other commitments on that weekend and it is a bit of a drive for me....  But thanks for the invitation!  If I can switch things up I will definitely head that way.

What a great idea to help forget this cold weather eh?    **Bring on the warmer weather!!**

Thanks for the invite, it sounds like a really good time but we are doing inventory that weekend. It sucks because I'm in Ottawa and it's only a 4 1/2 hour drive!

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, in an attractive & well preserved body...but rather to slide in sideways, body completely worn out and and with your last dying breath screaming, "HOOOYA LIFE, lets try that again"!!!
