Just this morning I was riding to work, but my bike ran out of gas. I just had it in the shop to clean the carbs, and I guess some fuel leaked out of the tank during the process. My fuel gauge has never worked and I always  just reset my odometer after a fill-up. At 170 miles, the tank is dry. But this morning it was dry at 130 miles. So I pushed it for a while until a Hungarian helped me. I got some fuel, but then the battery died trying to re-start it. We got some jumper cables, but the guy was confused where to connect them. I told him in Hungarian, "the red to red, and the black to black." He kept looking for the + and - symbols. We finally got it jump-started and I arrived at work about 45 minutes late. I just returned from Mississippi on Sunday from a business trip. A Hungarian friend asked for a bottle of pancake syrup (they don't sell that here in Hungary). Well, I opened my backpack and found that the plastic bottle broke and I had a backpack full of syrup. This was all in the 2 hours of my day.

My boss had me order some parts for our aircraft and repair our popcorn machine. He said he wanted to keep me away from airplanes today. :pardon:
