In my neighborhood it's about $3.50-$3.75/gal (U.S) for mid-grade.

For those of us here in the states, keep your fingers crossed the environmental freaks don't jump up and get the government to embargo 80,000+ (rail) tank cars.. if they were able to accomplish that, it would be a huge disaster in more ways than one..

A few days ago, it was $3.23 per gallon for regular, but ethanol free premium was about $4.00 a gallon.

Spare a thought also for the poor Kiwi's, being slammed with $2.30NZD per litre!

Nevada decided that our fuel was to cheap, so a new "temporary" tax increase was added to pay for road repair and improvements. Hmm, thought that was a fee on my registration every year. But, as long as it's only temporary.. :dash2:

Being in Vegas at the moment, I've seen gas as low as $2.99/gal for regular.  $3.05-$3.15 seems to be about average.

Hopefully they use some of that "temporary tax" to repaint lines on the roads.  Insane drives are one thing, but when you can't see where the damn lanes are, it's no wonder you have so many accidents here..

Remember that when you're trying to compare prices, that a US Gallon is 3.78 liters, while an Imperial Gallon is 4.5 liters.

So the 91 Octane "regular U/L" I bought for A$1.49/L = A$5.63/USGal (US$5.06) or A$6.70/UKGal (3.66 pounds)

[Anyone know the keycode for UK pound sign?]

I believe that Venezuela has the cheapest petrol at about $0.17/Liter

And, I actually remember when gas was 19.9 cents/USgal at a station on 10Mile and Coolidge (Oak Park, MI) probably about 1959.

As much as we'd all like it cheaper, we'll pay (and grumble) no matter what the price. :-(
