I found a set of 1200 forks but the owner doesn't know what year they are. They have no anti-dive and has a 17" wheel. Are those the only 2 requirents for the FZR wheel upgrade? Thanks in advance.

The short answer to your question is, YES any year OEM FJ fork from 88'-93' will work.

More specific, the lower part of the forks do have different part numbers between the 88'-90' and the 91'-93' forks. Either set will slide right into the 84'-87' triple trees and 17" OEM FJ wheels and 87'/88' FZR wheels will bolt right in, along with blue/gold dot calipers.
