FJ1200 tank to replace my FJ 1100 tank...is it possible?

I have a FJ1100 with a damaged tank cap

I wonder if it is possible to replace my 1100 tank with a 1200 tank?

Hi yes it will work,I have a 86 tank on my 84 no problem,only difference was gas cap,hope this helps
