Did you hear about the Aussie who crashed his bike and got brain damage?

Did you hear about the Aussies and the Kiwis who don't take themselves too seriously and can have a laugh at their own expense and don't get all twisted out of shape because they don't understand the humour?

Good ole trans-tasman rivalry   :good:

One of our past Prime Ministers, Robert Muldoon, once said:

"New Zealanders who emigrate to Australia raise the IQ of both countries."

Don't go sending them back!!

If we sent them back, we'd have to re-populate a couple of Sydney's northern suburbs.

Indeed, but that post didn't come from Aus.

That quote of Muldoon's was very funny, and clever.

Seppo jokes are out then?
Matt,

Seppo jokes are fine here, but you may need to explain them.    :yahoo:

All good natured ribbing folks :)

I'm off to Sydney in two weeks' time for a week and some R&R.  I do love Australia, having also spent time in Melbourne and Queensland.

I won't tell any jokes, my timing is terrible ;)

About 6 years ago I ran into an Aussie here in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the bloke is from Meadow Flats, NSW, half way between Bathurst and Lithgow.  We struck up a convo and have become great cobbers, fair dinkum.  It's a long story, but we've got to know his entire fam, some are banana benders too. But he's been earbashing me to come down. I say we will someday and he gives me a gobful about saying 'someday.'  He's the ridgy-didge for sure.
I love Australia.

No worries Mates...we need more of it. Let me know if we can help ya while you`re here.

Seeing as we have a few visiting us from the America`s in early March, we may need a bit of ANZAC strength ta help fend them off.
Let me know if ya need a ride while your here...(No I can`t supply a paddock!)...but let me know by PM if ya even a tiny bit interested in a sensational weekend or two around March 8th.  :drinks:
