Just uploaded a progress in the gallery- what do you reckon?
I've often been asked, 'What do you old folks do now that you're retired'?

"Well. I'm fortunate to have a chemical engineering background, and one of the things I enjoy most is turning beer, wine, Scotch, and margaritas into urine."

Just had a curious thing happen on my brand new paint work. I am using Acrylic Lacquer metallic and clear-
when I topped up the tank I spilt some fuel and the clear coat started to dissolve.
It was around three days old and had been buffed.
the red stripe on top has no clear and was unaffected.
Could it just be a case of the clear needing time to cure or what??
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I buffed it back up but the clear thickness was damaged.

yes the clear needs time to dry... it needs at least a week to cure properly .... i know this because we had to sand the clear down on mine for the striping to be applied and without the clear being fully cured it was a real mess.
