We took a road trip this afternoon (08/11/13) to see a friends small collection of motorcycles. He had a couple of FJ1200's is decent condition, plus a few other motorcycles -

Down a long gravel road, out in the middle on nowhere, in a barn.....

Here, take look at the slideshow, pictures speak a lot louder than any of my words -

Enjoy!

Life isn't about having the best, but about making the best of what you have...

"small"  Ha!  Really nice collection that man has.

Seems a shame that they're clearly not ridden much though.

Wow, serious collector. We all only wish...... :good2:

I wonder how many out of the fleet are runners. And how old is the oldest tire out there.
There are some seriously nice bikes in there. Thanks for the share.

Does he actually sell anything or does he just hoard it all away. There's quite a few gems amongst that lot. He's sitting on a gold mine there, and I reckon he knows it too.

Too young to be old but old enough to know better.

Yes, he buys and sells all the time.

Most of the bikes in his personal collection are being restored. When he buys them, they have generally been neglected and I do believe in many cases he is giving them a better home.

One of his goals is to open the "museum" to the public.

My suggestion to him was to get try and get the road paved!

I'm considering going to work for him, but, I'd almost rather keep him as a friend.......

Aww, man! Now I'm going to have to find some clean underwear!
(And my wife thinks seven-ish are enough.) If I could only have those last four or five more, I'm sure that I'd be Happy. Maybe just one ZXR1200, and a VF1000R! Or an early GSXR-1000, Ducati 900SS, That GS-1000E in the blue & white, huh? Maybe? Please? Pretty please? Oh, it hurts bad.
I won't ask where it is, but that would make a heck of a rally location.

I'd like to build a ZXR1200 as a modern Z1R T'C using a aerocharger lag free self container turbo  :good2:

Did I see a few pics of the original '82(ish?) Suzuki Katana?
At the time, that was a really futuristic looking bike.
