On my '92:
Installed these mirrors.  Pretty good quality and great adjustment.  Had to hog out the bases a bit with the dremal.  Can actually see more than my elbows now.

Bought this tool and was able to crimp the riv nut.  This set comes with 8 mm riv nuts as well.

Bike now shifts like a new bike...better than ever.  This is a really good product.

Those mirrors look very nice Jeff. See if you can get a picture to them on your bike. Kudos lad!  Pat

Thanks Jeff...Those look great. Nice and wide, good view angles.
I found that removing the oem mirrors on my '92 and going with the wider CBR mirrors that the wind buffeting on my helmet was *slightly* reduced....did you notice that?

No, did not notice difference in buffeting...however this is the third try...the ones from Hong Kong ($22.00 pair)fell apart after a week.  I also ordered a set for our 86 from England...I think they were about $75.00.  They are pretty good and I have used those for a while as the 86 has a few issues to work out.  They bolt right on.

Because the size of the mirror is about 1/2 the size of stock I was concerned the field of view might not be good enough, but it is not an issue.

I was similarly surprised at the size of my CBR mirrors when they arrived. So much so that I rode around with one of each for a couple of weeks. I quickly realised that it didn't matter.  I large view of my torso and elbow or a smaller view of what was behind me. Having one of each mounted at the same time showed my rear vision improved a 100% with the smaller mirror.

I got the same mirrors, but the bases would not fit on my 86 - the screws are spaced just a hair wider than the bases. I attached them to the OE bases.
