A Naked FJ??

When I was looking for a bike back in May, I was shopping for an old Goldwing, and my plan was to make it a naked Goldwing. There's actually websites dedicated to naked 'Wings. They look pretty cool.
Anyhow, I was wondering about Naked FJs... Did some searching here and on google but didn't see very much. Just a couple bikes.
So would it be sacrilege to do a Naked FJ? (Get your mind out of the gutter! I didn't mean it like that! )

If you do a half-assed job - Yes!  If you do it well, hell no!

Back in 2000, I was looking for a wing to stip too (mostly budget driven) - and found my FJ instead!
