rubber chain guides on chain guard

Hi,

Not sure what they are called but I need to get hold of some new rubber chain guides that protect the swingarm ect from the chain?

Would be easier to get if I knew what they were called  :biggrin:

I think they are called "2KT-22151-00-00 SEAL,GUARD" . That's the part number for a 1990 FJ. I think there is two different styles so make sure you get the correct one for your year of FJ. No expert, just thinking out load.  :yahoo: I think Randy has some and they are still listed as available from Yamaha at least for the 1990.

hi   If you need 1 for a 84,85,86, good luck i could not find 1 for my 85 :dash1: i will just replace the swing arm some day i guess, There discontiuued,I

mean that is so stupid,  for yamaha to stop makein a part that is  so needed :ireful:

Hard to believe that you can't adapt a newer version on to the older swing arm. Also get on e bay and look at other swing arms from other manufactures to see if anything looks like it might adapt.

Boats.net says they have the Seal Guard (sells for US$51.00) here:

As already mentioned, I do stock the swing arm guide. They are in stock and you will probably see it on Wednesday if you order on Monday.

Would of thought all years were the same
unless you ride bikes, I mean really ride bikes, then you just won't get it
