There is no factory ground wire from battery to frame,  but you could add one from battery to the top bolt on the airbox, or anywhere else close
unless you ride bikes, I mean really ride bikes, then you just won't get it

While doing some wiring on mine for future Hella horns I ran a additional ground wire from the battery up to the front of the frame under the fairing just because I could. Can't say it helped anything but it can't hurt either, if designed properly. I would recommend that you fuse the ground wire with a 20 or 30 amp fuse just in case your primary ground fails.
If that were to happen when you hit the starter all the current would try to flow up that extra ground wire. Heat, sparks, smoke, potently a fire etc..

Thanks for all the help, I ran a new wire from the battery ground to the frame and it seems to have cleared up the problems( hopefully) I only got out on it once this weekend but it ran great.
