Hi Randy,
It would be great if you stocked/included the correct riv nut as well.

On both of our '92's these have failed.   My fix is to use a prong nut (flatten the prongs) like this:

http://www.screwfix.com/p/4-pronged-tee-nut-m6-x-9-pack-of-10/79359

that fits in the hole in the backside of the frame.  Works but the threads just reach, in fact I take the rubber damper wahser off so it will.

It has a nice bubble head for those who want to polish as well.

Great, one more knob to polish, can't you polish my knob for me?????
I would think that would cost extra..  :drinks:

Jeff,
If Randy can't fix you up, send me a PM. I have a couple of the correct Riv-Nuts left over that FJMonkey (Mark) sent me when I needed a "fix".

You have to drill the hole in the frame for it to fit, but once in place, it works.

Here's my thread about the subject:

Let me know if you need a couple.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for the offer!  I will send you a PM.

Probably obvious, but I take you are installing the riv nut into the outside of the frame by boring out the original hole, correct?

Thanks,

JEff
