This place is really cool............
On the first Thursday of every month, they open up their space to cater to the 2-wheeled crowd.........They are calling it "Old Bike Night" but it's really open to any year, make, or model........I think they are aiming for an "Ace Cafe" type gathering, and after attending 2 of them, it has that sort of vibe to it........

Last night was perfect weather! An excellent turnout of various machinery cycled in, and out of the place from around 4pm to well after 8pm......

Lots of cool vintage British machinery, as well as Cafe-style conversions, and a good mix of European and Japanese bikes as well........There was a little bit of everything.
(This is why I Love it!)

I rode the FJ down, and I convinced my next-door neighbor to ride his BSA over with me..........................Even our old friend Lee C. showed up!
(apparently, he had never heard of this event even though it's right down the street from him. I clued him in the night before via email)

The food is excellent! I had the signature (Cod) Fish&Chips, and a Chainbreaker IPA.......... :drinks:
What more could you ask for? Fish, Chips, Beer, Bangers, and Bikes! (nice smooth twisty roads are nice too) :good:

There were a good number of 2-strokes in attendance as well...... I counted 4 RD's, and an RZ...........and a couple other brands too...

Lots of stuff you don't normally see  :good2:

This is about as close to a "Baby FJ" as you can get!

I am not quite sure what it was about this bike, but it was my favorite one that I saw last night.............

Just as I was about to leave to head home, this guy shows up.............His name is "Steve", and he spoke with a slightly British accent......
We talked for a few minutes, and swapped a few FJ mod stories.....He is from Denver area, and said he is a member of the UK FJ site, but wasn't familiar with this forum...
I gave him the website info, and told him to come join us. :hi:

Was a fun night, and my neighbor enjoyed getting the BSA out to the event............I enjoyed chatting with Lee C., and a few of the other bikers there......
I will probably attend a few more this riding season...............How can you not? :drinks:

Life isn't about having the best, but about making the best of what you have...

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely, in an attractive & well preserved body...but rather to slide in sideways, body completely worn out and and with your last dying breath screaming, "HOOOYA LIFE, lets try that again"!!!
