Hello, I'm in the process of rebuilding my FJ1100 and I forgot, where does the cable coming off the battery negative terminal go to on the engine?

Behind the battery, look down and you should see a bolt on the engine. Out of memory it's about 6-8 inches down there. You should be able to see where it was connected.

Hi Anton

The negative cable on my 86 1200 bolts on the middle bolt  bellow where the engine casing rises up for the rear upper engine mount.

Make sure you clean the contact area well before connecting the cable. You need a good connection to run the starter.
