[84-1100]  Can anyone see any problem if I reverse the rear axle insertion, put bolt head on right side and washer, nut on left side of swingarm. I am having muffler clearance problems since I did the rear shock swap. I have a 4/1 Yoshimira.
Or I could look at mounting the muffler outboard some to clear. But the axle switch would be easiest.

On every bike that I have owned, the bolt head was on the right side (rear brake pedal side). The nut on the left side (gear shift side).

Should not be a concern........ I had it thru from either side when I had OEM swingarm and had no issues.

FJZ1 1200 - It'll do me just fine.
Timing has much to do with the success of a rain dance.

I always fit all my bikes with the bolt head on the right side. It's easier to align the wheel because you already have the brake-arm held in position by the axle. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.   :good:   Pete.
