HELP :MY CARBS HAVE FUEL POURING OUT THE AIR INTAKES

My carbs are leaking fuel.  Well it seems that it is only carbs 1 and 2 (looking forward from the seat from left to right).   When it is off and standing in the garage, there is a small amount coming out of the large overflow hose on the left side (for 1 and 2 carbs).  When I start and run the bike there was a steady stream running out under the bike.   I took the air box off and fuel is coming out of both 1 and 2 at a pretty steady rate.  3 and 4 appear dry.   I have pulled down the carbs, cleaned everything with carb cleaner.    She seems to run OK.  I don't have a manometer so cannot sync them.  Maybe a bit thirsty on fuel and sometimes the idle goes up by itself.   I do know that it does not have an original fuel pump fitted.    This fuel leakage has not been present the whole time that I have been working on this bike since I got her in July.
I eagerly await your wise and helpful replies.

Have you replaced the orings on the inlet needle seats? They are a known culprit.... also worn seats(actually the inner side of the seat) can catch and hold the needle open.
