Very nice Jim...very nice. I don't know much about the 1988 FJ's, they were not available in the US that year.
It appears to be the same white/sliver color set as our '89's with the 17" front rim and front forks.
Is it a fuel pump model with dog bones? Any differences between the '88's and '89's?
A little paint and a couple of pieces of trim on your right side scoop and you are golden!
IIRC, Randy @RPM has those trim pieces for you.

You scored Jim, good on ya! :good2:

I'm not really sure if its got a fuel pump, my other fj is an 87. Yep I'll be ordering that from Randy his service is always great,
plus I need the back plastic on the back of the front fender, I know Randy sells the fender but I just need that back piece.
Thxs for the good comment I figured I did ok with it.

What I have read about the 88' model. It is exactly the same as the 89'. The 88' was not sold in the US because the 87' was a slow seller and there as an over abundance of 87's in the dealerships in the US when the new model's were to be released.

CA '88 is the same bike as the US '89, as Fred said.
