Does anyone know what bolt, size, head style, length and thread that is used to mount the stock exhaust pipes to the frame bracket?

My 92 FJ1200 had aftermarket exhaust on it when I bought it a few years ago and I'm going back to stock, problem is there are not bolts/nuts with the exhaust.  I know I could use just about anything that fits but I want to use the proper setup. This is the bolt that goes through the one and only bracket on the exhaust and fits through about a 1" sleeve and then through the frame bracket. I believe it's an allen head bolt approximately 2- 21/2" long, but not exactly sure.

Thanks in advance,

Mike

I don't know if this will help you. Here is a list of the parts that make up the exhaust attachment hardware.

Damper-36Y-27424-00-00

Collar-90387-104L8-00

Bolt-92011-10040-00

Nut-90179-10276-00

Washer-90201-10669-00

Quantity is one of each, per side.

If nothing else I can check with the local Yamaha dealer and see if those numbers match up with anything they have in their system.

Thanks Fred.

Based on that Yamaha part number the bolt should be 10X40. Hope this helps.

As far as I know it's the stock exhaust, I removed the exhaust that was on the bike when I bought it 3 years ago. The bike had Yoshimura RS-3 pipes on it and the previous owner gave me the stock exhaust.  I've been having issues with the carbs and general running so I pulled the carbs and cleaned them.
I checked all the jetting and it was stock so I figured the stock exhaust would give me the best chance of having the bike run smoother. I've since found a microfiche with all the hardware required for the exhaust and as soon as my package arrives from RPM with a few goodies I'll reassemble the carbs and if all goes well I'll be out riding.

Thanks,

Mike
