do all fj's have a double walled downpipe?

pretty sure i have a rattling downpipe on my bike, but i read a few places that said it was only the 1100's that have this problem, just want to make sure the 1200's have double walled downpipes as well before i go ahead and remove the exhaust. my bike was manufactured 2-86 if that helps

No, the 86+ are single wall. 86/87 are SST and polish up real nice, not sure if other years are SST...
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

They do get loose at the head, make sure the nuts are nipped up.

Your right about them getting loose,the ambulance was ticking when I got her, could move one of the pipes at least 5mm from the head
unless you ride bikes, I mean really ride bikes, then you just won't get it
