sebel air horn problem fix

Some of you have had issues with the sebel / equivalent air horns. Mine has been working for a while and then for some reason it stopped (actually after I dropped it). After stripping the bugger completely I found that the culprit was the end plate (see picture) if it is hit even gently it pushes hard up against the internal impeller. The motor stops turning.
You don't have to pull the motor apart like I did, just put the cast end cap into a vice (gently does it) and grab a large set of multi grips. Twist the steel cap and slowly pull it upwards till the motor starts spinning freely, if it pulls out just knock it back in square.
If that still doesn't loosen the motor, remove the steel cap by twisting it off, gently tap the motor shaft in the impeller using a pin punch, the impeller should move around freely, replace the steel cap- problem fixed, good luck.
