My day expectantly freed up today so where to go...? Stevens Pass sounds good on an 80 degree day. I was reading the category (how fast have you gone on your fJ) the other day thinking what a grandpa I was mainly getting to 80ish mph only. Today I found a deserted stretch and barely cracked the throttle to half from 50 mph and next thing I know the speedo is dancing around 115-125...I was like "holy cr@p" and immediately backed it off. The bike didn't feel like it at all. They really are amazing bikes. Plus...sure enough passed a stater 5 minutes later going opposite direction. Close call.

Nice pics man. Look alot like the country around here. Been so busy this weekend that I haven't even gotten the cover off the bike. It's a long weekend here and the traffic is absolutely nuts. The temps are supposed to get into the high30's and low 40's over the next couple of days. Will have to get out early in the morning for a ride. Looks like you had a good day. Kookaloo Big R

Nice pics. Washington State has some great riding roads. Hwy 2 would make a nice loop with Hwy 20 on the way back to Seattle.
