Not quite FJ maintenance

I removed the visor mechanism from my helmet today, washed it thoroughly, sprayed it liberally with non synthetic silicone spray and refitted. The visor action is better than new.

never  known of anybody else to do that,but makes perfect  sence ,, usually need a crowbar to shut visors after six months even with a new helmet
