Just fitted the 1988 fzr genesis front wheel to my 1994 abs. I removed the abs sensor and totally disconnect the abs system  , no probs the question is there is a need for a spacer to be made I looked on the site and can't seem to see if anyone has done this before and the dimensions for the spacer? any advise would be truly appreciated.

The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

You need the right side wheel spacer for the non ABS version of the FJ. Part# 90387-15550-00. available at any Yamaha dealer. I got mine from Yamaha sports Plaza for about $7.00.

Hein.
What do you mean, you don't have a lathe?

It is difficult to get a accurate measure ment as the abs plate is not totally flat. Thanks for the part number I will order one from the dealers tomorrow.
