I currius. Is there any specific CBR year modell that will bolt straight on? Or do i have to find someone that fits the FJ base..?

$18 incl. postage a pair (to Aus). Look great, glazing not terrific but you don't notice when riding, don't vibrate, I can see behind me for the first time withOUT rocking my body side to side and all I had to do was elongate the holes a little in the base that came with the mirrors.
I'm very happy with them and see no need to upgrade them for better quality ones.

CBR600/1000RR '03 - '10. I'm sure about the model but you had better double check the year, it's on here somewhere. I can give you the seller details if you want.

Those mirrors were really cheap..

They even went right under Norways custom value limit too, so no import fee or sales taxes added :-)
Belive me, i have paid a lot during the last couple of months.

Not everyone understands what a completely rational process this maintenance of a motorcycle is. They think it's some kind of a knack or some kind of affinity for machines in operation. They are right, but the knack is almost purely a process of reason.

These? They'll fit an '86? No negatives about them, no vibration/fall apart/fitment problems?

Slight fitment issue, but easy to solve: http://www.fjowners.com/index.php?topic=1562.msg34868#msg34868

The angle of the fairing where the mirrors mount on the 86/87 is different on the 89' and up FJs.

The mirrors on my 86' are still a little buzzy at speed, I am thinking of drilling a hole and filling them with silicone. The added weight should dampen out some of the vibrations.

Read back a page and see that you will also need to grind a little off the OEM bases for the mirror stalk to fit.
The glass is not half full, it was engineered with a 2X safety factor.

Oh, these are the same mirrors you have, monkey? I assumed you and Noel were referring to different options. I've heard of drilling and putting silicon, but I can never imagine where you would be drilling... If it's just in the base, it seems like it would be an inconsequential amount, but wherever it is, I guess it works if people do it. Would love to hear how it goes for you if you do so.
