69 cars set burnout record in Australia
The Guinness World Record for the number of car burnouts was broken by having 69 vehicles simultaneously spin their wheels for 30 seconds.

I'm pretty sure the attempt was sponsored by one of the major tire retailers.
The one winner got a new set of tires. 

The rest got to spend their own hard earned dosh for new skins.
